For some time now, I've been noticing that my work has given me a respite from thinking. When I'm dyeing, especially with indigo, I'm right here in this moment, holding the cloth under the liquid, feeling the warmth of it through my gloves, experiencing nothing except what is happening right now. There is so much peace in that. I'm not attached to the outcome. Is that faith? It is Sunday morning and I am at church. The Church of Indigo.
Hoping you find peace today at least for a little while and when you do, drop me a line and share about it here if you like. I'd love to hear about it.
