Little Moon Pouches

I dye cloth because it helps me get out of bed in the morning. Really that's it. That's the reason. Sometimes I set things up the night before. When I wake up, I remember there's a gift waiting to be unwrapped. often, though, there is just something I dyed the day before that is finally dry and needs to be ironed. I have one of those giant ironing boards from costco and a pretty good steam iron. So here is what got me up this morning. The little indigo moon pouches I dyed yesterday. They were all shriveled up and wrinkled and ironing them was pure joy! Do you like to iron? I'm not a big fan of ironing clothes, but i absolutely love ironing my nature prints. It helps me to see every tiny part of them. Oh there's a birch leaf! There is a whole delightful world I would have missed if I hadn't taken the time to iron. Ironing out the wrinkles. I'm sure there is a metaphor there.

gotta go to my other job now. Have a beautiful day!
