Stitching a Life

Whenever I am stitching, I see every little flaw in every stitch -not long enough, crooked, uneven. Then, when the whole piece is done, I see that every single stitch has its place, and it is the crooked and uneven stitches that add interest, that make the piece hand made. Stitches are like the minutes and hours and days of life. The whole thing

looks pretty good.
